Martin G. Marron is currently a Managing Director in the Global Emerging Markets division at JP Morgan and co-heads Americas Sovereign Trading. That includes all asset classes, with the exception of corporate bonds, in the region, ranging from external debt bonds, CDS, bond options, index trading, to also all local markets and all offices throughout the region.
Prior to this, Mr. Marron was in charge of Brazil office local markets team and he was also the Co Senior Country Officer for JPM Brazil in 2006 and first half of 2007. Before this, he held various trading and management positions at JPM in Argentina, USA and Brazil. He joined JPM in 1992.
Mr. Marron began his Emerging Market career at Citibank Argentina, as an FX trader in 1990. Prior to this he worked at Credit Lyonnais as a controller and at Price Waterhouse as a financial entities auditor.
Mr. Marron is a Certified Public Accountant from University of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Mr. Marron was elected to the EMTA Board in October 2007.
