Hong Kong MPC Supports EMTA NDF Template Terms.

The Hong Kong Foreign Exchange and Money Market Practices Committee (MPC) has expressed its support for the use of the EMTA Template Terms for NDF Transactions by market participants in Hong Kong, subject to individual banks’ own assessments of their acceptability.

This support has been expressed to the MPC member associations, including

    -Hong Kong Financial Markets Association
    -Hong Kong Association of Banks
    -Hong Kong Association of Restricted License Banks & Deposit-Taking Companies;
    and
    -Hong Kong Foreign Exchange and Deposit Brokers’ Association
