This special Seminar will focus on recent developments in the Mexican homebuilding sector.

Topics will include: 

  • What can be done to restore the viability of Mexican home builders?
  • How will the current difficulties in the Mexican home builder sector evolve, and does this present opportunities for EM investors?
  • How will the government's new policies on loan guarantees and land reserves affect the outcome?
  • What are the consequences for Mexican high yield, and will the current difficulties  affect investor sentiment in the EM corporate sector generally?
  • How will the experience of Vitro impact investors' expectations during Geo's and Urbi's restructurings, and will Urbi and Geo be the only two companies that will restructure their debt?
